A few weeks ago one of my friends celebrated a new baby (Eli) & a fourth birthday for her older son (Ben). In an effort to help I volunteered to make Ben's birthday cake...here's what I came up with.

To celebrate Eli's arrival I made a cupcake bouquet, inspired by Alisa Bangerter on
Studio 5. Here's what it looked like...

It was raining like crazy the day I took the bouquet to her. We added some skewers so we could cover it with a plastic bag without ruining the frosting.
PS. There are still two "gifts" available in my previous post "Pay it Forward." Does anyone else want to play?
Wow, amazing and delicious looking. I had no idea you decorated cakes. That's something I'd love to learn. Where did you learn? Or is a natural talent?
ReplyDeleteYou really are talented with cake decorating. I thought you just played like me, but it turns out you're a bit more serious! I'd love to learn how to do that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love Alisa Bangerter's segments on Studio 5. We cancelled our cable about 5 months ago and I haven't watched it since. Sad. :(
I have entered your pay it forward. So I make you something as well right?
